I am General Manager of Burger King on Roanoke Road in Lagrange. I notice a very petite lady with long hair and long dress at the front counter. And immediately I knew she was of the Pentecostal faith.For she had a radiate glow about her not just because if the way she dressed and the long hair but her nature was gentle and Godly. For I too am and I attend the Fredonia Community Holiness Church in Fredonia, Alabama. This lady shared with me a track from your church and I can say I truly enjoyed it. Dear Eric, I just wanted to write a brief note and let you know I browsed your church's web site and enjoyed the tour. I surf choirs on youtube frequently and one of them had a link to a clip from your church. I'm not of Pentecostal faith, but enjoy many of their choirs. I have several clips from The Pentecostals of Alexandria, Indiana Bible College and a Church College from Stockton, CA of which I do not know the name. All three of them however are Apostolic and I'm sure you're familiar with them. I like music of numerous faith traditions, each with it's own unique style. I was looking for apostolic websites yesterday and came across your website. I am enjoying the sermon videos. It is so much like the church I went to when a child. I am apostolic. Our church even also believes in no Christmas trees. I attend a small apostolic church in High Point NC that still believes in holiness. Sometimes life can get you down, If you feel down, you need to get up and go to church. so you can hear the word of GOD. GODs word always lifts me up. Without jesus in my life, I can't eat, I can't even breathe I have no reason for living. But there is something you can do to ease the stress of everyday livin. if you repent and get baptized in jesuss name expect to have all your sins washed into a sea of forgetfulness then you will be as pure as an infant in the beginning. but for all the unforgiven or the unwillin lifes of sin expect to be used by the devil. you can receive what you want to believe. But soon you'll have to reep what you've sowen. so Please, any man can ask, to get a cleansing of there sins to grant another chance Perhaps if you ask for forgiveness it could give you a glimce of the light then you will see how wonderful jesus is. As you survey these sentences. The questions I'm merely tryin to pose is as simple as me sayin. What about repenting? what about being baptized in jesus's name? and being filled with the holly ghost. why commit the same sins over and over again and again? why not give jesus christ a chance to work in your life?

We will be flying from Florida to Michigan at the end of May to see a doctor at the Michigan Ear Institute. Hopefully he can rebuild the ear drum in her right ear so that she can hear out of it. She had a lot of ear infections when she was little and it caused her ear drum to collapse. She is more interested in being able to swim but we want her to hear better. Pastor Duke, My Name is Nathan. I am a graduate student and the University of Central Florida and a christian in Orlando Florida. I was recently given one of your "advertisements" from who I can only assume is a member of your congregation. It says LS presents TOO, and proceeds to patronize and criticize the reader for being too busy, tired, happy, smart, etc... to think about god. If I still associated myself with organized religion I would be ashamed. By as I do not, I am only writing this to give you my reaction to your message, so as to hopefully provide insight into how some people may interpret it. To Begin, God calls us to lead by example, not to guilt or threaten into belief, as your pamphlet does. My first reaction to your pamphlet was anger, condescension is not the way to inspire new converts. This is exactly why people do not like christians. Secondly, the point of being a christian and worshiping the lord should not be focussed on the goal of getting to heaven, as your pamphlet (purposefully or not) discretely implies. It should be to lead a virtuous and pious life because it brings joy in THIS LIFE, not simply to get the reward at the end. Of course I can anticipate your reply, that this was intended to get people to come to church, and once they show up, they will see how "it truly is to be a christian." I have heard this argument many times--any way you can convince people to come to church is justified. I disagree with this on a fundamental level. The point is NOT to get people to come to church, but to accept God, and live as the virtuous and kind people. It seems to me--and I may be wrong--that the most effective way to spread the christian message is to be kind to people--to lead by example. In my view, your pamphlet does not do this, your church money would have been better spent, and you would have reached more people, had you simply distributed the money you used to print these pamphlets. Perhaps the following quotes will be instructive on how some famous non-christians perceived christianity, thanks to public relations like those of your church. Nathan P.S. I work at 7-11,which is where I met a very friendly and kind-hearted member of your church, who was stopping through on his way to Toronto and then to Pennsylvania. I found your website to be very insightful, with many powerful messages from the Bible. One's that I found spoke to my heart. I myself became Born Again and was totally on fire for the Lord, but I drifted away and have been so ever since I lost my only sister and best friend, 4 years ago. She was only 17.I was 18. After that I have not been able to trust God. I feel like He let me down. I still battle with my convictions everyday, but I'm so scared to let myself become that vulnerable again.
